The May issue of the American Planning Association’s Planning magazine included an article by Steffen Turoff and Carrie Krasnow entitled, “Hey, Buddy, What Will You Pay for This Parking Spot?” The article discusses the impact that “The High Cost of Free Parking”, Donald Shoup’s landmark book on the economics of parking, has had on city planning since its publication in 2005.
