Matt is a Principal for all of Walker’s Michigan operation offices and the National Technical Director for Forensics, Restoration, & Building Envelope. His project responsibilities and experiences include project management, condition assessments, cost estimating, report writing, restoration design and production of construction documents, and construction administration/construction field monitoring for buildings, plazas, parking structures, and general restoration projects. His technical responsibilities include maintaining and improving restoration projects’ quality.

Matt’s engineering experience includes projects involving many of the widely seen types of construction in use today. Building projects include façade investigation and repair of brick masonry, stone, precast concrete, and terra cotta buildings. Matt project managed and engineered a series of repair projects from 2002 to 2012 for the Maccabees Building in Detroit, Michigan. Matt also played a central role on the team that restored the Book Building and Tower from 2015 to 2019.
