Matt is the Director of Restoration for both the Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo, Michigan offices. His responsibilities include project management, condition appraisals, cost estimating, report writing, restoration design and production of construction documents. He is also responsible for construction administration and construction field monitoring for building, plaza, parking structure and general restoration projects. Matt’s engineering experience includes projects involving many of the widely used types of construction in use today. Building projects include façade investigation and repair work of brick masonry, stone, panel brick, precast concrete and terra cotta buildings. Matt project managed and engineered a series of repair projects in 2002-2012 for the Maccabees Building in Detroit, Michigan. Matt also played a central role on the Design-Build team that restored the Wayne County Courthouse Tower during 2003-2005. Both of these buildings are on the National Historic Register.
