Nick Auerbach is a Data Scientist specializing in clean energy, mobility, curb management, and parking. He works with cities, municipalities, transit agencies, and state agencies to design, improve, and operationalize data systems that support planning, investment decisions, infrastructure deployment, and program implementation. His work includes data architecture and pipeline development, statistical and geospatial analysis, financial and techno-economic modeling, and applied machine learning.

Nick has extensive experience building financial and techno-economic models for public- and private-sector clients to evaluate capital investments, operating costs, funding and incentive structures, and long-term impacts of clean energy and mobility. His technical expertise includes EV charging infrastructure, transit electrification solutions, microgrids and distributed energy resources, and high-efficiency building technologies. Across projects nationwide, he has developed analytical tools and forecasts that help translate complex data into practical insights for planning and policy decisions.

Prior to joining Walker, Nick worked at an energy systems modeling firm, where he led state and municipal decarbonization and electrification studies. His background in mathematics and applied statistics supports a practical, data-driven approach to solving complex infrastructure and regulatory challenges.
