Katarzyna (Kasia) Burzynska is a Building Envelope Consultant in Walker’s New York office. She is an architect specializing in historic preservation, investigation, and repair of the building envelope. She is also a Masonry Special Inspector certified by the International Code Council and a Level 1 Certified Thermographer.

Kasia’s expertise includes building envelope condition assessments, facade restoration and roof replacement following historic preservation principles, leak investigations, sidewalk and plaza replacement and waterproofing. She has over five years of experience working on New York City Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) projects and repairs for various New York City landmarks, which require coordination with multiple city agencies. She assists architects and building owners by performing field investigations, conducting a range of non-destructive and exploratory tests, preparing construction documents, and providing bid assistance and construction administration services.
