James’ background both in design and in the field as a General Contractor has exposed him to the construction of a variety of projects, including law enforcement, municipal, federal, higher education, civil, aviation, arts, and transportation facilities. This diverse experience, coupled with his background in engineering, enables him to recognize problems across disciplines that are not typically realized until construction has already begun when it’s too late to make costly corrections. His ability to effectively communicate complex issues to a variety of audiences allows the design team to quickly and accurately solve problems in such a way that the intent of the project is clear to the contractor in the contract documents on bid day.

As a project manager, James has been involved with many diverse construction projects. He is proficient in field activities and the coordination of design disciplines. James will coordinate with the project team and provide constructability assistance throughout the design process.
