Jacob is a Restoration Consultant and Project Manager for Walker’s Kalamazoo, Michigan office. His responsibilities include forensic evaluation of concrete, steel and masonry structures, preparing condition assessment reports and cost opinions, production of restoration construction documents, and construction administration and observations. He is also involved in the design of new parking structures and corresponding construction administration and observations.

Jacob’s 9 years of experience with Walker includes work on over 300 projects. Ranging from detailed inspection of a small bus shelter to an asset management plan for a football stadium, Jacob has assisted clients on projects both big and small on a diverse range of structure types, including precast, cast-in-place, post-tensioned, waffle, and plaza slabs as well as building facades. He has led survey and construction administration efforts on multiple multi-million-dollar repair projects to some of the largest parking structures in the Midwest at Detroit Metro Airport as well as a $6 million post-tensioned slab replacement project at the Dow Event Center parking structure in Saginaw, Michigan.
