Carlos is a Senior Consultant in Walker’s Austin office specializing in forensic investigations, structural evaluation, and repair design. With over 20 years of experience, Carlos investigates complex structural challenges involving construction and design defects, material-related distress, dynamic loading, and structural failures. His work combines field investigation, nondestructive testing, structural modeling, concrete material analysis, and practical repair recommendations to help clients understand the cause of distress and implement durable, effective solutions. Carlos has evaluated structures affected by alkali-silica reaction, corrosion, sulfate attack, delayed ettringite formation, vibration, seismic activity, and other durability-related conditions. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
