The restoration of the Sioux Area Metro Transit Station in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was awarded Best Parking/Transportation Facility Rehabilitation or Restoration by the International Parking & Mobility Institute as part of its 2019 Awards of Excellence.
Known locally as the Depot, Walker Consultants was the project manager and engineer for the extensive restoration, which included dramatic accessibility and aesthetic improvements.
