The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Parking Council has declared Walker Parking Consultants and the City of Santa Monica as the runner-up to its Best Practices Award. Our consultation with the city involved citywide parking rates and demand-based pricing. Congratulations and thanks to Bernard Lee and Steffen Turoff for their great work on this project!
Founded in 1930, ITE is a community of transportation professionals including, but not limited to transportation engineers, transportation planners, consultants, educators and researchers. The Parking Council was formed to identify, educate and promote effective practices in the planning, design, operations and management of parking facilities.
