Shannon Edwin is a member of the Consulting Resource Group and is based in the Los Angeles office. Shannon works on a variety of transportation planning and parking studies, with a focus on providing multi-modal solutions to complex transportation and access problems. While based in LA, Shannon provides support to Walker’s Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.
Shannon has worked on downtown municipal transportation and parking studies, curb management studies, Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plans, shared parking studies, parking supply/demand analysis, and traffic studies. Shannon has helped cities, private developers, airports, hospitals, and universities in solving their parking and transportation challenges, especially looking at how providing multi-modal transportation options can help reduce parking demand and increase access.
Prior to Walker, Shannon worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for a transportation engineering and planning firm. There, she gained valuable experience writing and conducting analysis for Traffic Impact Studies. This, combined with her experience at Walker, has given Shannon a holistic understanding of the varied, and sometimes competing needs, of transportation systems. Shannon’s primary goal and passion is developing context-specific recommendations that will assist public and private clients in balancing these varying transportation needs and user groups.
