Joey Rowland is the Managing Principal off Walker’s Charlotte office, serving the Carolinas region. Joey is a structural engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, most as a parking designer. His parking structure design background includes extensive experience in both precast/prestressed concrete and cast-in-place, post-tensioned structures.
Over the course of his career, Joey has been involved in more than 250 parking structure projects. His responsibilities incorporate all aspects of the parking consulting profession, including feasibility studies, concept designs, cost estimates, site planning, functional design, structural engineering, project management, and construction administration. Joey’s experience also includes parking planning, operations consulting, financial feasibility, parking access and revenue control equipment, structural condition assessments, and renovations of existing parking structures.
