Jacob Larson leads Walker’s applied data science and data analytics practice, serving our planning, operations, and technology clients across North America.

Before Walker, Jacob spent six years at Park Omaha, the last three as an Applications Analyst shepherding the collection and analysis of the parking and curbside system’s asset and use data. At Park Omaha, Jacob digitally remapped the city’s on-street parking system using the Curb Data Specification (CDS). He also managed the enterprise system, integrated asset management data, explored AI in collaboration with the City’s technology commission, and created new GIS applications. His expertise spans databases and APIs, data standards, analytics, systems integration, and digital infrastructure. Jacob was awarded the 2024 International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI) Emerging Leader of the Year, and is active in IPMI, the Alliance for Parking Data Standards, Open Mobility Foundation, and other professional organizations and initiatives.
