Walker was hired to assist in advising a client who was contemplating the purchase of a parking garage. As part of the due diligence process, Walker conducted a review of financial pro forma for the garage, which was created to project revenue and expenses over the next ten years. This project had an extremely short deadline for completion and as a result Walker immediately began research of market rates for the garage and review of the facility’s existing operating plan to project expenses in preliminary detail.

Our review identified areas of the pro forma that appeared to be anomalies with industry standards based on the conditions of the parking market at the time and our experience with parking operations in the area.
