Brad is a Principal and Director of Operations for the Elgin office. He has 15 years of experience at Walker and is currently responsible for overseeing the production and Quality Assurance process for all projects produced by the office. Additionally, Brad functions as a Project Manager, where he is responsible for the management, conduct, and quality of the service provided and to ensure efficient communication with the design team members. This role also includes developing the functional design and geometric flow; monitoring production of construction documents prepared by Walker; and coordinating Walker services during the construction phase of the project. In addition to being a parking expert, Brad is an expert in post-tensioned and precast/prestressed concrete design and is a licensed professional engineer. Brad has been involved in many sustainable design projects. In 2011 he served as Project Manager on the Des Plaines Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, IL, which was awarded LEED Gold. It was the first casino development in the United States to do so. Brad was able to incorporate state of the art features such as an intelligent Parking Guidance System, high efficiency LED lighting, green trellis walls and the use of recycled and regional materials into the design.
